She is from Romania, where she lived till the age of 19th. She studied in Italian Literartures in Italy, and from Rome, Italy she moved to New York, USA. Her extensive experience at the United Nations Headquarters in New York has made her to decide undertaking the U.N. Peacekeeping Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) since June 2004.

Dody finished his thesis at Master’s of Peace Education program at the United Nations-mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica. Dody has undergraduate degree in international relations from Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia.
Currently Dody is living in Yogyakarta and working as coordinator for Peace Education and Non-Violence Initiatives Division at the Center for Security and Peace Studies, Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia. This division has the objective to spread over peace and non-violence values within society through various activities, including training, workshop, campaign, discussion, website, library, and movie screening.
Dody also develops cooperation with an elementary school in Yogyakarta in order to implement project development report that he has submitted for his final thesis at UPEACE, a project that aims to develop the capacity of elementary school teachers in delivering teaching-learning activities within peace education frameworks.
