Imelda TJAHJA Wanted: Basketball players in Malakal!
The inauguration started around 15 minutes after the UNMIS Malakal Head of Office and Sector Commander arrived in the location. The ceremony was short but meaningful. It was opened by a short speech of my colleague, OT, who is also the Head of Engineering Unit. His unit together with the Indian military engineers were the ones who built the basketball court and of course it was initiated by the welfare committee.

Imelda TJAHJA Akobo, Jonglei state
I rented a tuku (Sudanese traditional house) from a local community based organization during my stay in Akobo. Every evening my colleagues & I were sitting outside our tukus to enjoy counting on the stars… Torch was the only ‘powerful’ weapon for us & there was a snake visiting us on the first night. The weather was perfect especially in the morning.

Imelda TJAHJA Malakal family
I was invited to my local colleague’s house the other day to meet his family. He has 5 kids & they are all ‘small-small’ :))) The youngest one is a girl, she is very cute! I was trying to hold her but she was crying. His house is big, it’s made by clay though considering bricks & cement are very expensive here!

Peranan Pendamping Peacekeepers

Pemberdayaan kapasitas Police Adviser Kontingen Garuda Bhayangkara
