She has been joining United Nations missions since 2003. Currently she is serving United Nations Mission in Sudan (UNMIS). Prior her joining with the UNMIS, she was assigned to United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) and United Nations Mission in East Timor (UNMISET).
She had also joined a couple of humanitarian missions in Indonesia – she was working with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Aceh and United Nations Office Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) for Yogyakarta earthquake relief.
She enjoys traveling, taking pictures, watching thriller movies and reading Agatha Christie’s novels during her spare time.

Akobo, Jonglei state
I rented a tuku (Sudanese traditional house) from a local community
based organization during my stay in Akobo. Every evening my
colleagues & I were sitting outside our tukus to enjoy counting on the
stars… Torch was the only ‘powerful’ weapon for us & there was a
snake visiting us on the first night. The weather was perfect
especially in the morning.

Another 'face' of Malakal, Southern Sudan
Right in front of the office there was a very beautiful (Nile) river! I was wondering whether I can take boat ride one of these days & my colleague told me that he has a cousin who has a boat which I can borrow just by fueling it, WAOW!!! this is the opportunity which hardly to be missed!!!

Malakal family
I was invited to my local colleague’s house the other day to meet his family. He has 5 kids & they are all ‘small-small’ :))) The youngest one is a girl, she is very cute! I was trying to hold her but she was crying. His house is big, it’s made by clay though considering bricks & cement are very expensive here!
