Let Col. Muhammad Irawadi, has been supporting the Indonesian Battalion named as Kontingen Garuda/KONGA XXIII-A at United Nations Interim force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) since its deployment in early December 2006. Armed with hands-on experience during his first assignment as member of Military Observer team in MONUC (Mission de l’ONU en RD Congo) – DR Congo, he plays an important role as Military Public Information Officer for UNIFIL. A truly golf-enthusiast and have been well exposed to assignments on various places domestically in Indonesia as well as internationally.

Rudi RACHMAT

Rudi Rachmat

Leut. Col. Arh. Rudy Rachmat Nugraha, currently serving under the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), engaging the role as Contingent member of the Indonesian Force Headquarters Support Unit (FHQSU). His previous peacekeeping experience gained during his extensive assignment in UNMIN – Nepal, and the D.R. Congo under Mission de l’ONU en Congo (MONUC), the United Nations’ peacekeeping mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo during 2003 – 2004 as UN Military Observer.

He would be sharing more stories on peace process established in Lebanon.
